Further to our earlier post on How to identify fake Facebook profiles, here is another little feature available on Google search that can be used effectively to trace fake photos. Surprisingly most people are not aware of this feature as most would just type in a keyword to search for images. Google’s image search has a pretty interesting feature that can be used to search either the source(s) of an image or a similar image anywhere on the web.
You would be wondering what one could probably do with such a feature. Well to us the best use of this feature would be to spot fake profiles and yes this would definitely not be the only use of image search. Image search can be used for quite a few reasons with one of them being to check if your photograph has been stolen by someone else or is being used by someone somewhere on the web without your permission.
Watch this video to view how this could be done and how we used image search to spot a fake Facebook profile picture.
